Breaking In - The Complete Series

Horrendous Season Two
Season One was entertaining and different. Bret Harrison always seems to end up in entertaining TV series (Reaper, The Loop) that end too soon. Unfortunately cast changes in Season Two turned this show into an absolute mess. Can't stand Megan Mullaly or the blonde British chick, and to make things worse, more on air time for them meant less time for Harrison and Christian Slater, the true stars of this show. I'd recommend you watch the Season One episodes and stop when you're done, Season Two is a complete waste of time.

An overlooked gem.
BREAKING IN is a hilarious and savvy FOX comedy that was overlooked by both audiences and critics. It was taken off the air WAY too quickly, and by the middle of season two, was fast becoming one of the funniest and most irreverent comedies on network TV.

The show had it all: smart writing, memorable characters like Cash, the quick witted and geeky gadget guy, Melanie -- the beautiful, intelligent and badass lock picking girl and lovable schmucks like Dutch. There's a lot of hilarious guest stars, too. And endless pop culture references, audience winks and, of course, Chrisitan freakin' Slater. And it's that vintage sly, witty Slater we love from his earlier movies.

Season Two took a bit of a creative turn, but once the writers figured out how to best use Megan Mullally, the new office dynamic at Contra Security was catchy and funny. Once it finds it's footing, the second half of season two has some of the coolest movie homages in recent TV comedy -- Back to...

Finally!
I love this show and I'm so glad it was made available on dvd. Thanks a bunch, Amazon! Took a little longer to receive since this is a dvd to order option but otherwise all was great.
