Civil War Diaries
I chose a three star rating for this DVD because I became enthralled listening to the actual words of a veteran of the the most horrible war ever fought. The words were his own views of what was going on in his world. Listen to the bravado in his words as he enlists to fight the war against " northern aggression" and slowly watches his world crumble around him. Although the choice of film clips seemed kind of hokish; the narration of his words more than make up for it. I would recommend this to someone who wanted to find out the feelings of a confederate solider.
