Wish there were more seasons
If you enjoy the BBC's Wallander, I would highly recommend this. I'm always trying to find new mystery shows and would rate this one at the top along with Inspector Lewis, Inspector Morse, and Wallander.

I really don't watch anything but British mysteries anymore, and Vera is fantastic. S2Ep1 actually surprised me, and that's rare.

Honestly, you just can't get better than the British for detective shows and Vera is another great one. The complexity of the characters, the terrific stories and the fantastic actors, well that says it all.
