Fifty Years of Bond Cars: A Top Gear Special with Richard Hammond

Not just for gear heads
This is a review of Top Gear rather than this episode in particular. Since Amazon currently does not allow reviewing of an entire show, I placed it here.

Top Gear is a car-related television show produced by BBC and currently airs on BBC America in the United States. I say it's car-related show rather than a car show because the three presenters (hosts) spend more time being funny than talking about actual car stuff like horsepower, torque, skid pad, slalom, etc. And boy, are they funny! Jeremy Clarkson is a 6'5" gawky guy who is often referred to as an orangutan, James May is a big nerd and constantly made fun of for his slow driving, and Richard "The Hamster" Hammond is small in stature and of course Clarkson never lets him forget that. The three of them travel across Britain, Europe and the world to test new and old cars and complete various (sometimes ridiculous) challenges. They've raced Bugatti Veyron against airplanes, bought used motorcycles to ride through...

Top Gear specials -thoroughly absurd and enjoyable.
The Winter Games Top Gear Special is an absolute classic. The James Bond special is a bit dull, truly, but the submarine car homage at the end is very cool, as are the clips from all the movies, and I loved to see Roger Moore. Still, with only Richard around to carry it, it's a bit lacking in humor.

Top Gear fans must see.
This was a nice little warm up for the return of Top Gear UK, hopefully at the end of the month. No spoilers from me, it's just the Hamster only in this one, it's still great and the interviewees seem more like the fans of Top Gear, maybe.
